Today is the day I write my first blog!

To be honest, I've never given too much thought to blogs, until I started reading the blogs posted on my Pastor's Facebook page. Like his teachings, I found 1 part common sense (God-given), mixed with two parts of maturity (obtained from a life of 70 years plus, & well lived), one part humility (unafraid to share a setback), & two parts of godly confidence, which I admire greatly.                                                  

Sharing the Word of God & the blessings it can bring is the best news, & I hope that much of what I blog here will be a blessing to you as well.

Where do I start? Well, I love to tell stories... true ones of course, & my grandchildren can certainly attest to that! But doesn't the Bible say that that is the foundation of 'Grandparenting'??  It does:-)!! Of course we are to tell our children first, but since I'm in that 'grandparenting phase' & they still listen to me, the first pieces of 'Belinda's Blog' will reflect this verse & the stories I've shared with them.

Deuteronomy 4:9 But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live & be sure to pass them on to your children & grandchildren.

Now, I'm off to write Blog #2!! Which story shall I tell first???
